Drying time varies according to environmental conditions and the thickness of the coat applied, but is generally between 5 and 30 minutes. It is advisable to protect the surface during drying to avoid any alteration.

The mirror effect may be attenuated, or even completely lost, if inks or varnishes are added on top.

When the paint is still fresh, it has the ability to dissolve the layer of paint already dried underneath. It is therefore advisable to apply it in a single coat and on relatively small surfaces to avoid undesirable effects.
