Blood Bowl is a board game combining strategy and miniatures, created by Jervis Johnson and published by Games Workshop in 1986. A parody of American football, it transposes the sport into a medieval-fantasy universe populated by emblematic races such as humans, orcs, elves, dwarves and other creatures from the world of Warhammer.

Each game pits two players against each other, each leading a team of 11 miniatures on a gridded pitch. The aim is to score touchdowns by carrying the ball into the opponent's end zone, while preventing the opposition from doing the same.
