Few demons in Frostgrave arrive of their own free will or with a specific purpose. Most have been summoned by ancient sorcerers and imprisoned in one form or another, often against their will. While demons are not necessarily evil, few are friendly toward humanity, and many remain bitter about being torn from their own existence.
