Mantodeus are creatures from the Frostgrave Bestiary. These large predatory insects originate from distant eastern lands and were brought to the Collegium as zoological specimens. Their impressive appearance and hunting instincts make them both fascinating and formidable, even for the most experienced wizards and explorers.
Escaping during the cataclysm, Mantodeus survive today by spending long periods in hibernation within cocoons. As adults, they reach nearly one and a half meters in length and possess a pair of spiked forelimbs used to immobilize prey before devouring it with razor-sharp mandibles. Their huge eyes and ability to turn their heads almost entirely around give them exceptional vision, making any approach extremely difficult.
This box contains one pewter miniature, suitable for 28 mm figures, delivered unpainted and requiring assembly with glue.
