The Varcolac was once a creature spoken of only in whispers — a Romani curse rarely, if ever, invoked. But in Venice, the Romani now have countless opportunities to unleash it. Bound by Romani will and the full moon’s pull, these unfortunate souls are twisted into savage beasts, driven to hunt down the enemies of the Strigoi. The Moon Eater is an even darker evolution of this violence: protected by runes and magical totems, it warps its own flesh from within, revealing a brutal and terrifying monster.

The Al Naibii is a tragic Romani who has received the Blood Kiss. Their conversion into a vampire is delayed for as long as possible through wards and protective writings, in the hope that some humanity might remain. A Romani handler follows close behind, watching the slaughter unfold with only a modest command of magic.
