Senshi was a devoted samurai who lived by the Way of Bushido, mastering the Niten Ichi-ryu technique in hopes of surpassing the duel record of his hero, Miyamoto Musashi. After thirty-one victories, tragedy struck when his lord was mortally wounded in an ambush by the Tokugawa and his village destroyed, leaving Senshi alone, a grieving ronin. Consumed by despair, he wandered west in search of an honorable death in battle, yet no one could defeat him. In Venice, he attempted seppuku, but arcane magic from a cosmic rift cursed him, condemning him to undeath. Now, Senshi roams the night, hunting deadly foes in a desperate quest for a final, dignified end.
