The peoples of the East stand out among Sauron's most devoted servants and form one of the best-trained troops of all the warriors under his command. Unlike the horde of orcs emerging from the Black Gate, the armies of the East are made up of disciplined warriors who fight with pride for Sauron, whom they regard as a vengeful deity.
They have been trained in the arts of war since childhood, and their women fight alongside the men as equals. In Rhûn, everyone is ready to fight for the Dark Lord. The Cataphractaires of the East, heavy cavalry, are truly implacable machines that topple enemy horsemen and sow destruction among the bewildered ranks of foot soldiers, like a reaper in a field of wheat. They represent the elite of the Eastern troops, and opposing generals must be wary of their devastating charges.
This box contains 70 components for assembling 6 plastic Eastern Cataphractaries. The kit also includes additional elements, such as a banner, a pair of war drums, a cape for the captain, four swords with scabbards, as well as two figurines of deceased Orientals that can be used to decorate your bases or serve as objective markers. Cataphractaries are supplied with 6 x 40mm round bases. The miniatures must be assembled and painted. We recommend the use of Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints.
