Gold Cloaks

The city of King's Landing is often perceived as a safe place for its inhabitants. The streets are constantly patrolled by the Golden Cloaks, recognisable by their distinctive uniforms. Their presence is omnipresent in the city, maintaining order and upholding the law in the name of the King. However, although they are theoretically under the authority of the sovereign, they are often absent when members of House Lannister break the rules.
