Chosen of Death

There are few warriors as formidable on the battlefield as the chosen priestesses of Death. Plunged into a deep meditative state, they can hone their hearing to superhuman levels, allowing them to ‘see’ by sound and gain a supernatural advantage. They move with deadly grace, blindfolded, covering themselves and coordinating perfectly with each other to fight as a single organism. Charged by their tribes with the roles of midwives and healers, their medical training makes them formidable in combat: each blow is placed with surgical precision, severing tendons, rupturing arteries and locking joints to neutralise their opponents, while dodging their clumsy attacks.
