The Black Guard are the elite bodyguards of the Darkling Covens' leaders, known for their unwavering loyalty and ruthless discipline. Stoic and fearsome in battle, they act as both enforcers and protectors, ensuring their commanders’ will is carried out without hesitation. Their presence on the battlefield inspires dread and reinforces the resolve of nearby troops.
This kit allows you to build a unit of 10 Black Guard with multiple customization options. It includes 10 distinct heads and 10 ebony halberds, along with unique components to assemble a Captain, who rests his right hand on his sword while pointing toward the enemy with his left. A banner bearer with a dagger and a standard in hand is also included, as well as an optional drummer to enhance the unit’s martial theme. The Captain can be customized with one of two bare heads for added character.
The plastic kit contains 60 components, which can also be used to assemble 10 Executioners instead of Black Guard, depending on your tactical needs. A decal sheet featuring various banner designs is included. Miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly. We recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints for best results.
