Exactly when Malcor became a wraith is unknown, but it is almost certain that his transformation is bound to the magic of the Collegium itself. Even if his spectral form were destroyed, part of his essence would still linger in its halls. At the time of the cataclysm, Malcor was assisted by three members of his staff whom he called his “Advisory Council.” Often dismissed as little more than sycophants, these administrators shared their master’s fate when he rose again from death.

Reborn as wraiths, Malcor’s advisors remain utterly loyal. Though capable of independent thought and action, they rarely leave their master’s side and obey his commands without hesitation. Their devotion is so absolute that they are immune to any attempt at undead or mental control.
