These flying insects, the size of a hand, have a shimmering shell, usually green or blue, and a pair of powerful mandibles capable of tearing flesh, wood, and even soft stone.
Gnawbeetles become dangerous as they are about to hatch, emerging in swarms from the carcass of a construct. At this stage, the beetles are filled with the mystical energies of the construct, making them extremely aggressive.
Within a day, the swarm disperses, each beetle seeking a safe place to burrow and lay its eggs. Gnawbeetles result from the transformation of gnawgrubs. This box contains 2 swarms of beetles, delivered unpainted and requiring assembly.
