Corpse Wranglers are not natural creatures. They are the result of strange necromantic magic applied to snakes. Since snakes are rare in the Frozen City, their exact origins are unknown, but they are easy to recognize. Corpse Wranglers look like two snakes joined by the tail, with their bodies splitting halfway to form two distinct heads. These creatures have the horrifying ability to enter a corpse and reanimate it, usually going in through the mouth to consume the brain before each head emerges from an eye socket, producing a zombie with snakes coming out of its eyes.
Although Corpse Wranglers have some advantages of the undead, they lack their weaknesses, as they are controlled by a living creature. To kill a Corpse Wrangler, the corpse must be torn apart, allowing the snake to escape and be attacked directly.
Sparrows are the most common animals in the Frozen City. They come by the thousands to peck at corpses, whether fresh or frozen. Most of the time, these birds are harmless to the living, except when Murderjacks appear among them. These giant crows, with a wingspan equal to a tall human, are aggressive hunters and provoke increased aggression in the rest of the group. It is unclear whether these large birds are naturally born or the result of the wild magic of the Frozen City. In any case, their presence calls for caution.
