In 1793, a great calamity strikes the world. The Rent in the Sky tears the heavens, destroying much of Italy and flooding Europe, yet Venice remains mysteriously untouched. The floating city becomes a symbol of hope and commerce, even as the Rent casts it in perpetual twilight, creating a unique and dangerous setting for its inhabitants and visitors.

The citizens adapt to this new world filled with magic and monsters. Rashaar creatures inhabit the canals, hidden by the Church of Dagon, a seemingly benevolent sect based in the flooded San Canciano district. Other factions, like the Guild, a network of thieves and assassins, manipulate citizens, offering protection in exchange for loyalty. Each game immerses players in complex intrigues where strategy and survival intertwine, delivering a thrilling and immersive experience.

This box provides everything two players need to explore the fetid canals of Carnevale. The set includes two gangs – the Guild and the Rashaar – with four resin characters each, cardboard scenery to assemble, a 24"x24" foldable game mat, dice, quick reference cards, and a 48-page booklet detailing rules, story, and two scenarios. The miniatures are detailed and ready to play, offering fully three-dimensional gameplay that combines movement, acrobatics, and combat in an engaging narrative skirmish game.
