Scout the bayous and frontier with the Confederate Blackhoof Scouts. The Confederate Rebellion, lacking many resources that Frontier settlers take for granted, must operate in the bayous and wilderness, avoiding all but the smallest settlements. Lacking the funds for heavy vehicles, the few rebels who require mounts rely on the Blackhoof, a temperamental and nearly obsolete mechanical horse. Over time, rider and mount have forged a bond as strong as any seasoned partners in battle.
These mechanical horse automata are well suited to the dense terrain in which the rebels operate and are far quieter than any Iron Horse or Interceptor, providing a tactical advantage for reconnaissance and rapid movement through hostile environments.
