Gamling et Háma

One of the oldest and wisest captains to lead the Rohirrim, Gamling serves as one of Théoden’s closest advisors. At the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, he carries the royal standard of Rohan as the Rohirrim prepare to charge. His devotion to his liege never wavers, and Gamling rides alongside Théoden, facing the same dangers as his king.

Háma serves as captain of Théoden’s palace guard and as one of the King’s personal bodyguards. He witnesses his lord’s descent into despair under the malign influence of Saruman and Gríma Wormtongue. By placing his faith in Gandalf and his companions, Háma hopes that the White Wizard can restore his king and help Rohan recover its strength.
