Heroes of the Empire

Empire commanders are far from uniform in their appearance or approach to war. Some lead their forces alongside Fangun Medium Tanks, while others issue orders from elaborately decorated motorised chariots that echo the traditions of legendary heroes. These varied figures offer Empire players more ways to represent their commanders and give their units a more individual character.

The Empire’s mastery of automata is equally evident in the mechanical companions that accompany its leaders. Their forms range from mythical creatures, including the nine-tailed fox and the fenghuang, to imposing automata bodyguards that tower over their masters. Tian Shen monks may also attend commanders’ councils of war, with some carrying mysterious jade shards associated with Nüwa. Each shard represents one of the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water, and is said to radiate primal power.

The Heroes of the Empire set brings together generals, officers and other miniatures from across the Jade Pact’s Seven Realms. It is designed to help Empire players represent Commanders in their forces while adding visual variety and personality to their battlefield formations.

Armoured Clash is a 10mm-scale tabletop wargame set in an alternate late-nineteenth-century world. Command infantry formations, armoured vehicle squadrons and enormous war machines known as Behemoths as the Great Powers fight for supremacy and shape the future of the Dystopian Age.
