Caesars Legions

The components of a Roman legion

Thirty legionaries form the backbone of the collection. Their equipment features three iconic Roman weapons: the pilum, a heavy throwing spear; the scutum, the large Roman shield; and the gladius, the short sword used in close combat. The miniatures feature detailed sculpting and dynamic combat poses, making them suitable for representing troops in the thick of battle or assembling a disciplined infantry formation.

Beyond the main body of soldiers, the box includes two centurions, two standard bearers and two musicians. Two mounted generals complete the force, providing additional character and variety to your Roman army. Together, these figures represent several of the different roles found within a legion.

Customise your historical figures

Alternative components allow you to depict Julius Caesar, Mark Antony and Pompey. These character options have been sculpted with reference to ancient stone statues portraying the historical figures. Additional parts are also supplied to create more centurions and explore further alternative builds, giving you greater flexibility when assembling your collection.

Whether you are building an ancient Roman army, expanding a historical miniature collection or creating a battlefield diorama, Caesars Legions provides a varied selection of figures with plenty of visual character. Please note: transfers are not included in the box and are sold separately.
