British & Inter-allied Commandos Starter Army

An all-volunteer force, the Commandos recruited from all branches of the armed services. There were Army Commandos, Naval Commandos, and even the Inter-Allied Commando regiment, which included Belgians, Polish, Dutch, and other nationalities.

Commandos fought across Europe, Burma, and Africa, earning battle honors for numerous famous actions, including the legendary raid on St. Nazaire. They were deployed in various ways, from small elite units to full-scale assault divisions. Exceptionally trained, aggressive in combat, and deadly in close-quarters fighting, the Commandos were rightly feared by their German, Italian, and Japanese foes.
