The Pak 36 was the standard German anti-tank gun in 1939, primarily equipping Panzerjäger battalions. Despite its small size, this gun proved effective, especially against light and medium vehicles. Its accuracy and compact design allowed it to remain in service throughout the war, although its effectiveness waned against heavier Allied armor.
Thanks to its small size and ease of transport, the Pak 36 could be towed by most light vehicles, making it a flexible weapon on the battlefield. Its maneuverability allowed crews to quickly deploy the gun into position to counter enemy threats. While it became outdated against more modern tanks, it retained an important role in Germany’s anti-tank defenses.
In Bolt Action, the Pak 36 is classified as a Light Anti-tank gun and can be included in Artillery Platoons. It can be towed by most vehicles, providing excellent tactical mobility. The set contains one metal anti-tank gun and three metal Afrika Korps crew figures, ready to defend their positions effectively.
