The Breda 20/65 Model 1935 was one of the most widely used automatic cannons by Italian forces during World War II. Originally designed as an anti-aircraft weapon, it proved equally effective against ground targets thanks to its high rate of fire and armor-piercing capabilities. This versatility made the Breda an invaluable asset across multiple theatres of war.
Deployed extensively by the Italian military, the Breda served as the main armament on several vehicles, including the AB41 armored car and the Autosahariana desert trucks. Its reliability and compact size made it ideal for mobile units. After the conclusion of Operation Compass in early 1941, British forces captured many of these guns and pressed them into service, including by the famed LRDG (Long Range Desert Group), highlighting its enduring battlefield value.
This set includes one metal Breda 20/65 gun and three crew figures. It’s an excellent addition to any Bolt Action army looking for historical accuracy and tactical flexibility. Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
