Civilian Figures 1:144

At 1:144 scale, a person standing 1.8 metres tall would measure approximately 12.5 mm. Their compact size makes it possible to add figures to small spaces while preserving the overall balance of a diorama. Position them near doorways, staircases, vehicles and walkways to make the dimensions of surrounding structures easier to appreciate and give your composition a more convincing sense of scale.

These civilians also offer plenty of possibilities for science-fiction modelling. Place them around mecha hangars, industrial installations or futuristic streets to suggest a world built around enormous machines. In Gundam and Gunpla displays at 1:144 scale, they can represent passers-by, observers or ordinary people moving through an environment dominated by mobile suits. They can also be used in airport scenes, harbour displays and architectural models.

Ready for your own finishing touches

Manufactured using 3D resin printing, the figures are supplied unpainted and attached to their printing supports. Carefully remove each miniature using precision side cutters, working gradually through the connection points to help protect delicate details. Once the supports have been removed and the surfaces prepared, apply a suitable primer followed by thin coats of paint. Subtle shading and highlights can help distinguish clothing and small details without overwhelming the figures at this scale.

Leaving the colours and final presentation up to you makes it easier to match the miniatures to your chosen setting, whether you are recreating a contemporary location, a historical-inspired scene or an imaginative science-fiction world.
