Greyjoys

House Greyjoy is one of the great families of Westeros and ruler of the Iron Islands, with its seat in Pyk. Their coat of arms, a golden kraken on a black field, symbolises their sea power, while their motto, "We do not sow", reflects their lifestyle of conquest and plunder. After House Targaryen conquered the Seven Crowns, the Greyjoys became the Lords Protector of the Iron Islands, allowing the Ironborn to choose their ruler.

The Greyjoys are renowned for their powerful fleet and frequent raids on other great houses for plunder. Bastards born in the Iron Islands are known as 'Pyke'. Balon Greyjoy currently rules the Iron Islands, relying only on his daughter Asha and younger son Theon after the loss of his two eldest sons in the Greyjoy rebellion.

The Greyjoys bring two new mechanics to the game, 'Plunder' and 'Companion', which influence their style of play and strategy on the battlefield.

Within each faction, you'll find combat units such as Ironborn Reavers, as well as characters such as Attachments and Non-Combat Units, which bring additional skills and influence the course of combat.
