THE STORY

Commander O'Shaserra, also known as Shadowsun, is a renowned military strategist in the Chalnath Expanse. She excels in the stealth battlesuit assault and the Kauyon metastrategy, which emphasizes the Patient Hunter philosophy of war. However, Shadowsun faces a daunting challenge in devising a plan to defeat the Chaos-worshipping warriors of the Death Guard, who possess ancient technology that allows them to manipulate space. Additionally, their daemonic allies defy logical methods, which puts Shadowsun's strategic expertise to the test.

With her forces spread out across the dark side of the Great Rift, Shadowsun is caught off guard by a surprise attack on the Startide Nexus wormhole portal. To make matters worse, hidden treacheries and atrocities are revealed, leading to tensions and the threat of civil war between the T'au and their allies.

To prevail, the T'au's greatest commander must improvise, rely on her instincts, and confront the dark secrets of her empire's past.
