Dweghom: Hold Warriors

‘The fact that the majority of Dweghom warriors have given up military progression to devote themselves to a lifetime of military service bears witness to the harshness and potential dangers of advancement in the army. Ballistas, the first ranged weapons developed to fight dragons, remain powerful instruments of death against less formidable foes. Their ease of production and repair makes them a staple of the fortress armoury.

Whether they're shield-wielding warriors or ballistae specialists, those who encounter unclassified fortress warriors are mainly up against seasoned veterans who have devoted their lives to military service. The small percentage who aren't career soldiers, however, make up for their lack of experience with their ambition and ruthlessness, making them just as dangerous on the battlefield.’
