Dweghom: Hold Raegh - New Alt Sculpt

Progressing through the ranks of the military machine of a Dweghom Fortress is a very difficult process, littered with physical dangers on the battlefield and pitfalls in advancement as an officer, because the higher you try to climb, the lower you can fall. For this reason, many Dweghom warriors, having earned the right to command soldiers, choose to forego honour and potential advancement, preferring to remain simply members of the ranks. As a result, there are many fortresses where no Dweghom can attain the rank of Raegh. Trapped by the pitfalls of the system, the most worthy candidates ruthlessly crush the aspiring pretenders to the detriment of their own advancement, fearful of losing the fruit of a lifetime's labour. This leaves the Fortress leaderless, transferring power to a triumvirate made up of the highest-ranking Mnemomancer, the leader of the Ardent and the Lord of the Temperate Forge.

So when you meet a Raegh, you know you're facing one of the most capable fighters in a Fortress, ruthless enough to have crushed all opposition to ensure his ascension, or talented enough to defend himself against all comers while advancing through the ranks. Unfortunately for the Dweghom race as a whole, and for their neighbours, this process rarely encourages skills and virtues such as diplomacy, compromise and patience... For most Dweghom, this suits them perfectly, offering more chances to take the battlefield and win more Aghm. This is a new plastic figure with an updated sculpture.
