He was the first of his kind and remains the last of the Cythai still alive. All the Ionrach bow before their undisputed sovereign, the oldest and most powerful of their people. His name is Volturnos, and his authority is absolute at the assemblies of the Idoneth. Mounted on his imposing Deepmare, Uasall, he inspires his warriors and leads them into battle with legendary expertise. It is said that no one else can anticipate and orchestrate the course of a battle as finely as Volturnos. He wields the Astra Solus, a sword capable of slicing through armour and leaving behind a blazing aura, and possesses Cealith, a shield that annihilates enemy magic, rendering it harmless.
This plastic kit is used to assemble Volturnos, High King of the Abyss. Armed for war, he dons a splendid suit of plate armour, with decorated leggings and imposing shoulder pads supporting his cape adorned with Idoneth symbols. In his right hand, he brandishes the Astra Solus, a cruel and sharp blade, while his left hand holds Cealith, the famous Shield of the High King. The bald, one-eyed monarch wears the standard of the High Kings on his crest, a majestic banner adorned with metallic symbols and a resplendent jewel. His mount, Uasall, is a feared Deepmare, a massive, scaly creature with sharp talons at the front and three powerful tails at the back. It is distinguished by a frontal horn that is more imposing than that of other Deepmars.
This kit includes 45 components, as well as a 60mm round Citadel base. The kit also allows you to assemble an Akhelian King.
