The Vreib naturally evolved chameleonic abilities, allowing them to evade or manipulate predators on their homeworld. When integrated into the Watcher Hegemony, this talent became uniquely valuable. Through hyper-evolution, the Cerulean Clade amplified this mimicry to extremes, enabling a Cerulean to replicate the appearance, voice, clothing, and even surface thought patterns of a target individual. Their only limitations are a mass differential over 46% and the inability to remove mimicked items.
This mimicry carries significant risk. Ceruleans can become lost in the mind of the individual they mimic, sometimes unable to revert to their original form. While experiences gained remain, much of their original “soul” can be lost. On Earth, the influence of the Hex creates additional challenges, producing Cerulean Nightmares—unstable, rapidly mutating forms that are highly dangerous and usually confined unless needed for critical missions.
The Cerulean Clade operates with few formal hierarchies, led by Primes in coordination with Vixens to accomplish missions. Infiltrator Myriads, smaller but equally intelligent, infiltrate key areas of human society to safeguard the Watchers. The Cerulean Clade Posse kit allows you to represent this versatile and deadly unit on the battlefield.
