Although the city known as Atlantea had to be destroyed due to contamination by the Order, one human subject was preserved for further research. These studies revealed that humanity possesses significant latent psionic potential, capable of telekinetic energy manipulation, object creation, and even physical transformation. While dormant in most individuals, certain genetic lines can unlock and harness these abilities.

Centuries later, the Watchers returned to Earth with the first Clade derived from this discovery: the Amber. Through genetic resequencing, the Amber Alpha Jocasta—known as Jocasta in her interactions with humans—represents the peak of human psionic evolution and a valuable asset to the Hegemony.

Often deployed in critical missions, Jocasta is supported by elite escorts. She is frequently protected by Vermillion Sentinels, bodyguards armed with blades and rifles, as well as Grey Elites enhanced with Viridian and Onyx gene sequences, enabling them to operate advanced weaponry and equipment.
