Few Allied anti-tank weapons earned a reputation as quickly as the QF 6-pounder. Introduced into British service during the North African campaign of 1942, it quickly demonstrated its effectiveness against Axis armour and went on to become one of the most widely used anti-tank guns of the war. Its combination of mobility, reliability, and battlefield performance made it a trusted asset across multiple theatres of operation.
This plastic kit brings that iconic weapon to your Bolt Action collection, offering a detailed representation suitable for British, Commonwealth, and even American forces. The model can be assembled as either the British QF 6-pounder or the US-built 57mm M1, providing flexibility for a variety of historical army lists.
The set also includes a highly versatile crew frame featuring soldiers in mid-to-late war British uniforms. Multiple head and arm options allow for varied poses, while the additional equipment, ammunition, shells, and cartridge cases help create a more dynamic artillery position on the tabletop.
In Bolt Action, the 6-pounder serves as a Medium Anti-Tank Gun available to Artillery Platoons and can be towed by most eligible vehicles. Its battlefield role makes it an excellent choice for commanders looking to counter enemy armour while maintaining historical authenticity within their force.
Supplied unassembled and unpainted, this kit offers an enjoyable modelling and painting project as well as a valuable tactical asset for your army.
