Airbrush Paint Steel Grey

The formulation makes it possible to build the finish gradually through thin coats while retaining surface definition. On miniatures, scale models, vehicles and wargaming scenery, Steel Grey can be used for basecoating as well as modulation, highlights, shadows and colour transitions. Air pressure, spraying distance and trigger opening can be adjusted to control the amount of paint being applied, allowing painters to move from broad coverage to more focused applications.

Consistent flow is particularly important when working with an airbrush. Air Formula is designed to promote steady atomization and help reduce clogging during longer painting sessions. The bottle is equally practical, combining a flip-top cap with a dropper-style dispenser. This makes it easy to measure the required amount and add the paint directly to the airbrush cup quickly and cleanly.

Steel Grey can also be incorporated into workflows using several painting tools. It is compatible with refillable acrylic markers, whose reservoirs can be filled directly without prior dilution for lines, outlines, markings, details and freehand work. Applied with a brush, its fluid consistency can be used for thin coats, glazes, blending and soft gradients. Its matte finish also provides a suitable surface for washes, filters, drybrushing and other common modelling techniques. Shake well before use to properly homogenise the pigments.
