Martell Spearmen (French)

Some of the great houses involved in the War of the Five Kings invested in heavy armour, but House Martell preferred to focus on the art of mobility and tactical support. The Martell Lancers, clad in light armour over their desert tunics, retain remarkable agility on the battlefield while withstanding the rigours of Dorne's arid climate. Their traditional spears are formidable for stopping an enemy charge dead in its tracks, while their accelerated training programme allows Martells to quickly form the backbone of their army.
