GSW Decal Fixer is a product designed to facilitate the application of decals, and can be applied directly to the surface of the model where a decal is to be placed. This fixative prepares the surface with special agents that soften the solvents in modern paints and strengthen the decal adhesive, making the decal more resistant. GSW Decal Fixer also softens the decal, allowing greater flexibility and adhesion, preventing bubbles and making the backing film invisible.

Instructions:
- Before applying a decal to your model, and once the decal has soaked long enough, apply a little GSW Decal Fixer to the surface of the model where you plan to apply your decal. The fixative protects the paint underneath and smoothes the surface, helping to prevent silvering. Use a brush to gently push the decal from the sheet onto the model. If the decal is difficult to move, add a little more fixative or water to float it on the surface until it is correctly positioned.
- If the surface where you want to apply the decal is curved, such as a shoulder pad, the decal may wrinkle. To avoid this, once the decal is in place, apply GSW Decal Softener. Allow the softener to work to eliminate wrinkles by adapting to the curved surface. Repeat this step 2-3 times
