Airbrush Compressor Pressure Gauge
A pressure gauge is an instrument used to measure the air pressure in an airbrush compressor, capable of reading values up to 10 kgf/cm² or 1 MPa. This device is essential for airbrush painting activities, where precise pressure control is crucial to obtaining optimum results.
The airbrush, a spraying tool that diffuses paint or other liquids into a fine mist, enables meticulous application to a variety of surfaces such as canvases, models or miniature vehicles. The airbrush compressor generates the compressed air needed to operate the tool.
When a pressure gauge is fitted, it displays the air pressure in units such as PSI (pounds per square inch) or bar, allowing the user to monitor and adjust the pressure as required. Maintaining the correct pressure is essential to ensure correct atomisation of the paint and a constant flow rate. Too much pressure can overload the paint surface, while too little pressure can lead to spray irregularities or clogging, affecting the quality of the job.
