No unit better represents the art of Idoneth warfare than the Akhelian Guard. These warriors, mounted on Fangmoras eels, fight in flexible formations, perfectly suited to lightning assaults and sudden retreats, characteristic of the harassment tactics favoured by the Aelfs of the Abyss. The Morrsarr Guard are equipped with shock lances and galvanic shields, capable of channelling their mounts' electricity into a lethal discharge at close range. Legend has it that massive formations of Morrsarr Guard produce biovoltaic discharges so powerful that they blind and disorientate entire enemy armies.
This plastic kit contains all the components needed to assemble 3 Morrsarr Guards. Each rider rides a Fangmora Eel, a fast, sinuous creature controlled by strong reins and blinkers attached to its head, attacking with its sharp fangs and whipping tail. Akhelian riders wear robust armour, although their arms are left bare for mobility, while their legs are protected by chain mail and light cloth. Armed with shock lances and galvanic shields, they also wear helmets adorned with crests. A special model in the shape of a sail identifies the Lochian Prince, the unit commander. The kit also includes a musician with a conch shell and an open helmet, as well as a standard bearer whose eel is adorned with a large pennon. A range of accessories, including nets, ropes, bottles and lamps, can be used to customise the mounts and bases.
The kit includes 80 components and 3 Citadel 60x35 mm oval bases. It can also be used to assemble 3 Akhelian Ishlaen Guards.
