Kreuger was once a man of conviction, a passionate fighter for the causes he championed. But after his fall on the battlefield, his body was claimed by a fanatical cult, dedicated to the sentinel dragon known as the Watcher of the West.
His corpse was thrown into a boiling volcano, immersed in a cauldron of magma mixed with dragon blood. However, a body, even when transformed by fire and plague, cannot act without an equally powerful spirit. The soul that once inhabited this mutilated body agreed to pay a terrible price to the great Seether, the Cauldron of the Seas.
While the dragon cult marked the nascent monstrosity, Kreuger's wandering soul was brought back from the realm of the dead. Body and spirit merged in a terrifying and glorious harmony.
He is now the bearer of the volcanic plume, rising from the bowels of the earth with a roar of thunder and bursts of molten lava. Wherever he goes, forests are ablaze and the armies that meet his blazing gaze are but torches illuminating his victorious march.
