Mercenaries in the Warmachine universe are independent soldiers and Warcasters who offer their services to the highest bidder. Belonging to no particular nation, these mercenaries rent out their skills and powerful Warjacks to those who can pay, whether they are nations, guilds or individuals. Their loyalty is often temporary, driven by profit and opportunity, making them dangerous and invaluable allies on the battlefield. Some Mercenaries specialize in sabotage, protection or espionage missions. Their diversity and flexibility make them key players in the constant conflicts that ravage Immoren.
