The Soviet Union’s Rift-tech scientists pushed the boundaries of genetic engineering by fusing human and bear DNA, giving rise to the terrifying Ursus soldiers. Standing over 8 feet tall, these man-bear hybrids were designed to physically match or overwhelm any enhanced infantry on the battlefield. Though difficult to control, their raw power made them ideal shock troops, deployed in high-conflict zones where brute force could turn the tide in the Soviets' favour.
The Ursus are savage in close combat. Their sheer size and resilience allow them to cut through enemy infantry with frightening ease. Even elite troops struggle to hold the line against them. While their unpredictability is a known risk, their presence alone can intimidate opponents and disrupt formations. Deployed wisely, they become a devastating asset capable of shifting momentum in a single charge.
In Konflikt '47, Ursus Infantry excel as frontline destroyers. Tough and powerful, they thrive when closing in on enemy units. Provide covering fire to ensure they reach the target, or transport them quickly using a standard truck, which can carry up to five Ursus soldiers. Once unleashed in close quarters, they bring destruction and panic—true engines of chaos on the battlefield.
