The Tyranids are sweeping across the galaxy from the far reaches of the intergalactic void. Their hive-like fleets infiltrate every system and every sector of known space. The Vardenghast Swarm represents a brood of Tyranid organisms that has devoured many of its prey and has been listed as an alpha-class threat by Imperial cryptosavants following a series of fierce battles along the Vardenghast Line. Rushing into battle as a single entity, with a multitude of bodies, these ruthless alien beings swoop down swiftly on their enemies, riddling them with horrific bio-munitions or tearing them apart.

These miniatures form the teeming core of any Tyranid force and can even be used as stand-alone units in Patrol games of Warhammer 40,000.
