Derived by Ukrainian engineers from charred blueprints of the pilfered Death Bringer, the Akula remains the apex vessel within the Ukrainian Submarine Command. Successfully replicated was the Akula's magnetohydrodynamic drive, enabling the submarine to approach nearly undetected before executing its strike.

Headquartered in Odesa, the Ukrainian Submarine Command (UPK) leads subaquatic warfare and exploration efforts for the Commonwealth. With an impressive training academy in nearby Zatoka, the UPK produces a consistent stream of adept submariners and vessels like the lethally swift Khyzhak class.
