Sorcerer Kings: Ghols

The Sorcerer Kings were initially astonished to discover that human thoughts and beliefs permeate the Elemental Domains much like they influence the Divine. Among the first creatures encountered within the fiery depths of the Domain of Fire were the Ghols, born from mankind’s greed, pride, and aggression. With their simplistic minds and primal instincts, the Ghols proved easy to subjugate, providing the Sorcerer Kings with an abundant source of cheap, disposable troops for the battlefield. 

Numerous, aggressive, and expendable, Ghols lead the charge ahead of the main army, driving skirmishers and enemy light regiments away from objective zones and holding off enemy advances until the main forces can secure their position. As elemental troops, they also serve as conduits for the sorcerous powers of their masters.
