The Thunderbolt is a heavy fighter combining devastating firepower with exceptional speed and manoeuvrability. Squadrons of these aircraft are at the heart of the Imperial Armada's air formations. Although the Thunderbolt's main role is to provide air superiority, its most impressive feature is its resilience: it's not uncommon for Thunderbolts to return to base with damage that would have been fatal to other aircraft.
If you're looking to dominate the skies, Thunderbolt fighters are for you. These versatile aircraft are equipped with twin laser cannons capable of devastating enemy armoured columns, as well as quad autocannons or Avenger bolt cannons to shred opposing aircraft and ground targets.
These miniatures can also be used in Aeronautica Imperialis games by mounting them on Aeronautica Imperialis bases, sold separately.
This set contains :
- 4 plastic Thunderbolt fighter miniatures (some or all of these miniatures can be assembled with Avenger bolt cannons rather than quad autocannons. The kit also contains a choice of Hellstrike missiles, Skystrike missiles or external bombs to equip your miniatures).
- 4 Legions Imperialis 40mm round flying bases with ball studs
- 1 sheet of Thunderbolt decals
