British Infantry Section (winter)
Designed to endure harsh winter conditions, the British Infantry Section Winter embodies the resilience and firepower of Commonwealth troops during World War II. Like most British infantry squads, the unit’s core strength lies in the reliable Bren light machine gun, supported by fellow soldiers carrying additional magazines alongside their personal weapons.
To combat freezing temperatures, the men are equipped with thick wool greatcoats and rugged sleeveless leather jerkins. Camouflaged groundsheets are used as makeshift capes, while knitted caps, scarves, and gloves add extra protection. This practical gear ensures they remain combat-effective in a range of cold-weather environments, from the mountains of Italy to the frost-covered fields of France, the Low Countries, or deep into Germany.
This set includes 10 metal miniatures representing British soldiers in full winter gear. Inside you'll find one NCO with a submachine gun, a two-man Bren light machine gun team, one additional SMG-armed soldier, and six riflemen. Plastic bases and one Bolt Action order dice are also included. Models are supplied unpainted and require assembly.
