Bef Infantry Section
This box contains 10 metal miniatures representing a standard British Expeditionary Force (BEF) infantry section from 1940. Included are one NCO with rifle, a two-man Bren light machine gun team, and seven riflemen. The set captures the typical structure of early-war British squads sent to face the growing threat of Nazi Germany.
The British Expeditionary Force was a force of nearly 300,000 troops deployed to France to support French and Belgian forces against Hitler’s advancing armies. Composed of ten infantry divisions along with artillery, tank brigades, and air support, the BEF was under the command of General Lord Gort. Despite limited mobility and coordination issues, these troops fought with determination and professionalism on the front lines.
Eventually, the BEF was forced into a tactical retreat that culminated in the dramatic evacuation from Dunkirk in May and June of 1940. This box set lets you bring the early war period to life in your Bolt Action games. Models are supplied unpainted and require assembly. Plastic bases included.
