Automation has become an increasingly important part of Commonwealth warfare in Konflikt '47, with entire formations now built around mechanised infantry. The British Commonwealth Automated Battalion takes this approach to the battlefield in force, combining a substantial core of Automata with the human-crewed firepower of the Percival Medium Assault Walker. The result is a formation designed around a formidable concentration of ranged firepower.
This box contains everything required to field both an Assault Platoon — or Automated Infantry Platoon — and an Armoured Walker Platoon. The infantry contingent includes 20 Mk I Automated Infantry and 4 Mk II Heavy Automated Infantry, all supplied as multipart plastic miniatures. The Mk I models feature HMG and MMG weapon options, while the Mk IIs can be equipped with light autocannon, heavy autocannon or Light Tesla Cannons.
At the head of the automated troops stands a Mk IIC Automated Director. The formation is then reinforced by a Percival Medium Assault Walker, whose multipart kit offers three different variants to build, including the Percival and Hornet configurations. This gives the set additional flexibility during assembly while preserving its distinctive Commonwealth character.
The miniatures were sculpted by Marco Sano and Jon Heeney, with the studio miniatures painted by Kirsten Williams and Darek Wyrozebski. Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted, ready for assembly, finishing and painting.
