The Automated Infantry are towering 10-foot-tall mechanical soldiers designed to deliver overwhelming firepower. Whether leading the charge or defending rear flanks, these robotic units take on the most dangerous, high-casualty roles—sparing British troops from the deadliest parts of combat. Their sheer presence on the battlefield is both intimidating and tactically decisive.
Thanks to Rift-tech enhancements applied to Alan Turing’s early computing breakthroughs, British scientists developed a basic but highly effective artificial intelligence. These automatons are capable of following simple commands and responding to environmental stimuli, making them flexible assets in a variety of battlefield roles—from suppression to breakthrough support.
Armed as standard with medium machine guns (MMGs), even a small squad can lay down a formidable volume of fire. A minimum group of two automatons outputs 8 shots—enough to pin down enemy infantry—while a full five-unit squad delivers up to 20 shots in a single round. These relentless tin soldiers don’t need backup; two squads alone can dominate the battlefield with sustained firepower and mechanical precision.
