City States: Promethean

When you contemplate the wonders of a city-state: its cyclopean walls, imposing cranes and smokeless foundries, you can't help but suspect that these prodigies couldn't have been built by mortal hands alone. And we wouldn't be entirely wrong. Deep in the bowels of each Acropolis reside the Prometheans, ancient titanic allies of the Scholae and their founder, whose profound primordial knowledge is responsible for many of the wonders that allow city-states to survive. Rare and sinister is the need that awakens one of these elders to war, as each of his strikes breaks the will of enemies while strengthening his allies.

Sharing the same impressive stat line as Hephaestion, the Promethean acts as a front-line support spellcaster, boosting the Defence and Shock of friendly Regiments within an 8’ radius. Unlike other spellcasters, however, the Promethean's spellcasting power is directly linked to the hits inflicted on Enemy Regiments during a Shock Action. Make sure you keep him close to the front lines for maximum effect!
