Us Army (winter) Weapons Team
Infantry weapons teams are a crucial component of any Bolt Action army, providing excellent tactical flexibility on the battlefield. Sniper teams, anti-tank teams, and flamethrower teams are among the most common, forcing opponents to overcome multiple strategic challenges.
The American Bazooka was first used in North Africa and at Tarawa in November 1942. The initial version (M1A1) featured two grips and a wooden support. By 1943, an improved model was introduced with an upgraded electrical firing system. The final version, extending to 1.55 meters, increased its range to 300 yards and could penetrate up to 110mm of armor at a 90-degree angle.
American snipers were tasked with targeting enemy officers to weaken troop morale. Equipped with M1903 Springfield bolt-action rifles with telescopic sights, they also carried pistols or shotguns for close combat. Meanwhile, flamethrowers were widely used, particularly in the Pacific and during the Normandy landings, to clear enemy fortifications and tunnels.
This set includes a two-man Bazooka team, a two-man Sniper team, and a two-man Flamethrower team. The figures are cast in Warlord Resin Plus™, a high-detail material. Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
