The Type 95 Ha-Go was the most widely used armored fighting vehicle of the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. Originally designed as a fast infantry support tank to replace the aging Type 89 Yi-Go, the Ha-Go was agile and mobile, capable of reaching speeds up to 28 mph on road. Armed with a 37mm main gun and two machine guns, including one mounted to the rear of the turret, it proved effective during the early years of the war. It first saw combat in 1939 during the Khalkhin Gol conflict with the Soviet Union and played a key role throughout the Second Sino-Japanese War.

As the war progressed, the Ha-Go became increasingly outmatched by the more heavily armed and better-armored Allied tanks. However, due to its sheer numbers, it remained a core vehicle within the Imperial Japanese Army and was also employed by the Special Naval Landing Forces. Its design served as the basis for various adaptations, including the Ka-Mi amphibious tank and the Ke-Nu variant with a Type 97 Chi-Ha turret, highlighting its versatility and importance in Japanese wartime production.

This kit includes one resin and metal Type 95 Ha-Go light tank, a Bolt Action stat card, vehicle damage markers, a full-color decal sheet, and one Bolt Action Order dice. Whether you're building a historical collection or expanding your tabletop army, the Ha-Go is a must-have addition for any fan of the Pacific theater. Model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
