This Starter Set provides a broad introduction to the Union’s naval forces in Dystopian Wars, making it a strong foundation for a new Admiral or a useful expansion for an established collection. At the heart of the fleet stands the Senator Command Battlecruiser, a heavily armed and resilient vessel capable of anchoring your force. Its adaptable hull can be assembled in several alternative configurations, offering different ways to shape your fleet.

A range of supporting ships brings further tactical options to the table:

• Senator Command Battlecruiser: a powerful command vessel that can alternatively be built as a Chicago Battlecruiser, Midway Heavy Landing Ship, Nashville Heavy Support Ship or Philadelphia Heavy Arc Cruiser.
• Yorktown Cruiser: a dependable warship that can also be assembled as an Intrepid Light Cruiser, Lexington Heavy Cruiser or Reliant Monitor.
• Farragut Frigates: escort vessels that can be built as Defiant Destroyers and deployed alongside larger ships or independently in groups.
• Princeton Corvettes: versatile light ships suited to escort duties and coordinated swarm attacks.
• Puritan Submarines: underwater hunters that lay mines to disrupt enemy movements and threaten opposing vessels with torpedo strikes.

Together, these vessels offer a varied force with options for heavy engagements, escort operations, fast attacks and undersea ambushes. The included tokens add further battlefield elements, representing aerial and surface escorts, a Talon Autogyro squadron and a ground assault force.

Dystopian Wars is a naval tabletop wargame set in an alternate late-nineteenth-century world where rival Great Powers clash using super-science and alien engineering.
